01 Information we collect

Depending on how you use roor.ai, we collect:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password credentials when you register (authentication is handled through our identity service; we never see your password in plain text).
• Billing information — your plan, purchase history, billing address, GST details where applicable, and payment confirmations. Card and UPI details are collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
• Content you create — the prompts you type, images or other media you upload as generation inputs, and the videos and images the service generates for you.
• Technical information — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages visited, timestamps, and server logs generated automatically when you use the site or the app.
• Communications — messages you send us through support email or contact forms, and our replies.

02 How we collect it

• Directly from you — when you sign up, buy a plan, type a prompt, upload media, or write to us.
• Automatically — through cookies, browser storage, and server logs while you use the website and the app (see section 05 for what we store in your browser).
• From service providers — for example, our payment processor confirms whether a payment succeeded, and our infrastructure providers generate operational logs.

03 How we use it

• To run the service — generate the videos and images you request, store them in your library, and keep your account working across devices.
• To bill you — meter credits, process subscriptions, issue invoices, and comply with Indian tax law.
• To improve roor.ai — understand aggregate usage, fix bugs, measure performance, and develop new features.
• To keep the platform safe — detect abuse, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and prevent generation of prohibited content.
• To communicate with you — service announcements, billing notices, support replies, and (only if you opt in) product news. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private prompts or uploads for advertising.

04 Who we share it with

• AI model partners — your prompts and generation inputs are processed by the third-party and in-house models that render your content, under agreements that restrict use to providing the service.
• Payment processors — to charge your chosen payment method and handle refunds.
• Infrastructure and analytics providers — cloud hosting, content delivery, error monitoring, and aggregate usage analytics that help us operate the platform.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public, or NeevCloud.
• Business transfers — if NeevCloud is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer with the business under the same protections.

05 Cookies & browser storage

• Essential — session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in. The service does not work without them.
• Preferences — small values stored in your browser, such as your day/night theme choice.
• Analytics — measurement of page performance and aggregate usage. You can block these in your browser settings without breaking the site.

06 How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Generated content stays in your library until you delete it or close your account. Billing records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and company law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymised.

07 Your rights

Subject to applicable law — including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for users in India — you can:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
• Delete your prompts, generated content, or your entire account.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Complain to us first — and to the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority if we do not resolve it.

08 Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, isolated infrastructure, and routine security reviews. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep the risk low and will notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach as the law requires.

09 Children

roor.ai is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority where you live — to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and the law evolve. Material changes will be announced on this page — and by email for significant changes — with the “last updated” date revised above. Continued use of roor.ai after a change means you accept the updated policy.
